Day 1: Marrakesh – Ait Ben Haddou – Zagora Desert Your adventure begins as you're picked up at 7:30 am from your Riad or hotel, embarking on a journey through the captivating Atlas Mountains and the awe-inspiring Tizi N Tichka Peak. The High Atlas Mountains welcome you with their enchanting landscapes and traditional Berber villages. Arriving at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco, you'll be immersed in the history that has also served as the backdrop for iconic movies like Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. Lunch is served, followed by a guided tour of the kasbah. Continuing your expedition, travel through the picturesque Draa Valley, with its lush palm fields, on your way to Zagora. Upon arrival, a camel ride awaits to transport you to the desert camp, where you'll witness the mesmerizing sunset. Conclude your day with a traditional Moroccan dinner under the starlit desert sky, accompanied by the melodies of local folk songs. Day 2: Zagora - Ouarzazate - Marrakesh Awaken to the early morning light casting its golden glow over the small dunes of the Zagora desert. After a typical breakfast in the Zagora bivouac, experience the concluding part of your camel ride before meeting your driver who will guide you back to Marrakech. En route, enjoy free time in Ouarzazate for lunch at a local restaurant and explore the renowned Kasbah Taourirt or visit one of the cinema studios. In the afternoon, your return journey to Marrakech commences, marking the end of your memorable desert escapade.

  • DAY 1 : MARRAKECH, KASBAH AIT BEN HADDOU, ZAGORA DESERT 7 HOURS DRIVEThe journey begins inside a modern air-conditioned minibus, should you come as part of a shared group, where we will head towards the Atlas Mountains. Our first port of call is at the Kasbah in Ait Ben Haddou.This walled city actually is home to around six Kasbahs and you’ll be amazed at the ancient feel of the place. After our stop off at the Kasbah we will head to the city of Ouarzazate. Here you can witness the place where many Hollywood blockbuster films were shot.

  • The Living Daylights, Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia, among others, have all seen the clapperboard in this city.If the scheduler allows for it, we may also stop off at the Atlas Film Studios. There is a 8.00 euro entrance fee to the studios, which has not been included within the price. Entry to the studios is at your own discretion.The afternoon is when we make our way through the Draa Valley.
